Newtown

This project was on a smaller scale than some, yet still provided plenty of joy for the clients.

The yard was completely empty when we first arrived and sloped significantly towards the house. A retaining wall was installed to divide the yard into two levels and rather than leave the wall plain, it was clad with natural stone cladding and capped with decking timber.

A Queensland Bottle Tree was planted is the focl point for the yard and surrounded with low grasses so as to not cover up any of the beautiful trunk of the Bottle Tree.

Large bluestone steppers create a pathway through the garden from the front gate to the side gate and takes you past the artificial lawn area and past nine different species of plants, which all work well together.
